PowerMan Server Room UPS
| PowerMan UPS's have been
available in South Africa since the mid 1980s –
one of the few products in this industry that
have survived past the 25 year mark. The company
was the first UPS company to offer service
contracts on their machines to extend the
warranty of the unit up to ten years, including
batteries. It has recently launched a unit
specifically for server room applications. This
UPS is supplied in its own 19" cabinet and can
be made up in a couple of configurations. One of
these is 2 x 10 kVA UPS, each with up to three
battery packs. This configuration offers you
either a 20 kVA load capability or a 10 kVA
capability, with 10 kVA spare capacity. The
units will share the load, and if one unit is
switched off for any reason, the other unit will
be able to carry the full load requirement.
Another configuration on offer is that of 3 x 10
kVA UPS, each with up to two battery packs. This
configuration will offer you either 30 kVA load
capability or 20 kVA capability, with 10 kVA
spare capacity. |
